Dirty Dolewhip

Our friend Jerusha of www.TheDisneyChef.com created the perfect “Dirty Dolewhip” recipe - a Dolewhip plus rum! 

Dole Whip with Rum EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival

Inspired by the Dole Whip Float at Aloha Isle, Magic Kingdom

INGREDIENTS

  • 1¼ cup frozen Dole brand pineapple chunks

  • ½ cup water or Dole brand pineapple juice

  • Dole brand pineapple juice

  • 1 shot of rum (suggested rums include Pussers Rum, dark spiced rum, coconut rum, or Siesta Key Spiced Rum)

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Remove frozen pineapple from the freezer and allow to sit at room temperature for about 15 minutes or until slightly softened (do not totally thaw!)

  • In a blender add pineapple chunks, water or pineapple juice (I prefer pineapple juice), and blend until creamy. If mixture is too watery, add more pineapple. If mixture is too thick, add water a tablespoon at a time until desired texture is reached.

  • Scoop ½ cup pineapple whip into a tall glass, add a shot of rum, or slightly to taste.

  • Serve immediately. Please drink this alcoholic beverage responsibly.
